How we do it
Once we have your trust and your vehicle, we can get the show on the road. Here’s how our automotive collision center typically handles your requests:
- Prewash and inspect the vehicle; generate a repair order.
- Detailed inspection – We’ll disassemble your vehicle to expose any hidden damage, pre-pull and measure in order to notify you and your insurance company of the needed repairs. Then we’ll order the necessary parts and calculate a firm completion date.
- Frame and body work – We’ll measure and repair the structure, re-treat areas where factory coatings are impaired, paint weld areas, prep new panels, check the accuracy of the dimensions, install the new panels, inspect the body and metal work.
- Prep and paint – We’ll prime and sand the vehicle to insure a flawless, rust-resistant finish. Then we’ll prep the surface for painting by cleaning it with compressed air and solvents. We’ll apply urethane coating to match your factory finish and bake it at 140 degrees for 45 minutes to provide factory durability.
- Completion and inspection – Finally, we’ll remount parts, install the upholstery, re-charge the air conditioner, reconnect the electrical wiring, perform a test drive, wash and detail your vehicle, complete the final quality inspection and inform you of the precise pick-up time.
